We have renovated more than 10,000 multifamily units, converted more than 4,500 apartment units to condominiums and helped sell more than $600 million in units.
2014 was a stand-out year, and one that confirmed WestCorp's reputation as one of the top companies in the industry for lease ups. Last year alone, we leased up a 308-unit development in just 8 months. This was accomplished in approximately 50 percent of the industry's average time to lease up a project of that size. And we had 10 prospective residents on the waiting list!
Other notable accomplishments in 2014 included management contracts started for Las Palmas and Woodhaven Apartment Homes in Las Vegas. In the first year alone, Las Palmas has increased its monthly profits by 40 percent and improved lease ups from 73 to nearly 100 percent. We continue our management of Domain Apartment Homes and Cabrillo in Southern Nevada.
2015 and Beyond
WestCorp expects 2015 to be one of its busiest years and is already working with five new developments including Dwell, Dream, Union, Southwest and The Wyatt in Southern Nevada and The Wyatt in North Dakota. Combined, these properties will bring nearly 2,000 new units under WestCorp management.
